Job – Inside Sales


The Inside Sales candidate reports to the Inside Sales Manager and is responsible for meeting their quarterly and annual sales target. An Inside Sales representative’s job entails selling or introducing new corporate products or services to established clients. The customers communicate with an Inside Sales representative to request for orders, quotations, and lead times by fax, telephone, or email. Most inside sales person’s job is to build quotations on standard products, write orders, and communicate pertinent information on them to customers. The primary duty involves tracking and following up on the leads, the organization generates based on web marketing.

Additional job responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the successful development of clients
  • Maximize potential revenue in their assigned product segment, territory, or target market
  • Following up to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Participate fully in training sessions, meetings, skill-building, and professional development classes
  • Report on monthly sales performance per sales personnel, per product, per region or office, and per industry
  • Emphasize service or product features and benefits, discussing credit terms, quoting prices, and preparing sales order reports or forms


  • Applicant should possess either a Bachelor’s degree or have 1-3 years experience in sales
  • Proficient understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite, including and not limited to Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • High knowledge level of communication products/services/solutions, pricing practices, and selling skills
  • Ability to see things through to completion
  • Excellent telephone sales personality skills
